After 12 days of #Backpacking across North #India, covering nearly 4,000kms travelling on 6 flights, a train, busses, Tuks Tuks, Scooters, Rickshaws and a Shikar boat - I'm finally #home! There's really nothing like it and you can imagine the feeling especially after roughing it out in India! However, it's been an amazing trip and one that has definitely broadened my perspective. For those who did #FollowTheStache : Thank you and my only objective is that you were inspired to travel and my hope - that you actually will! Couple of days back we visited Mukesh Ji's place - "Jungle Vibes" in #Rishikesh. For the past 30+ years he has been making #African #Djembés and #Australian #Didgeridoos using wood from the nearby forest together with his son (next to me) Many foreign tourists and travellers come to learn to play the instruments at this place. Christmas Eve '15 Rishikesh, India My first #Christmas away from home. Missing the fam bam, the festivities and the excitement. This view tried its best to make up for it though. In February 1968, the #Beatles travelled to Rishikesh in North India to practice meditation and immerse themselves in a transcendental experience. Today we're also in #Rishikesh. Following their footsteps we'll be checking out the Ashram that the Beatles stayed at.
