The Leopold Café in Colaba #Mumbai is considered to be one of the iconic and popular cafes in the area. It is featured on many Travel Guides and even extensively quoted in the International Novel - Shantaram. It's fame is mostly derived from the unfortunate #MumbaiAttacks in November 2008 where this was one of the first sites that the shootings took place. (The bullet marks can still be seen on the walls) However, taking a reality check: Considering the Non A/C downstair area which doesn't work well with the Mumbai weather, only 2 brands of Beer offered with a Price of 1800 INR for a Tower (this is 2x the prices in LKR), No cocktails or other hard liquor offered and the Coffee being quite standard I would say it's thoroughly overrated. If compared to pubs in Colombo like Cheers Pub or even so many other places which are less pricey - you can't even bring it close. If #Colombo had the kind of demand in terms of numbers that Mumbai has - we would've Milked them dry! #SorryForBeingCrude
